There are other conferences that also produce exceptional honorees at the highest levels, though.
Recently, Bill Connelly of ESPN revealed his SP+ ratings, which are “a gauge of the most sustainable and predictable qualities of football.” They are based on data from the top 25 college football programs over a 20-year period. Over the past 20 years, the majority of these programs have consistently won, and some of its coaches are among the most well-known in school history.
On the other hand, there are some who are losing strength quickly and must navigate their individual boats over choppy waters.
